Principal's Message

Welcome to the 26-27 School Year!

Good afternoon, Ram Family!

Welcome to another exciting school year at Riverview Elementary! I hope your summer was filled with laughter, new adventures, and meaningful moments with family and friends. As we begin the 2026–27 school year, we are filled with excitement for all that lies ahead and look forward to welcoming both our returning and new families to campus.

This year, our theme is “Driven to Learn, Destined to Lead.” Inspired by the energy, determination, and teamwork it takes to reach the finish line, this theme reflects our commitment to helping every Riverview student grow academically, socially, and personally. We want our Rams to approach each day ready to learn, willing to take on new challenges, and confident in their ability to lead themselves and others toward success.

At Riverview, we believe every student has the potential to do great things. Our dedicated staff is committed to creating engaging learning experiences, building meaningful relationships, and providing opportunities for students to discover their strengths and reach their full potential. Together, we will encourage our students to stay focused, work hard, and remember that success is not always about how quickly you reach the finish line—it is about the growth, perseverance, and determination you show along the way.

Our students will continue to be guided by our R.A.M. Code of being Respectful, Accountable, and Mindful. These values help us create a campus where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to make a positive difference. As we continue to pursue excellence in mind, body, and spirit, we are excited to see our students not only achieve great things, but also develop the character and confidence to become tomorrow's leaders.

At Riverview, we know that a strong partnership between school and home is essential to student success. Your involvement, support, and communication make a tremendous difference. We encourage you to stay connected by participating in school events, volunteer opportunities, and community meetings such as SART and IDAC. ParentSquare will continue to be our primary form of communication, and you can expect to receive our weekly Ram Report each Friday with important information, upcoming events, and celebrations from around campus. We also invite you to follow us on Instagram @riverviewrams for a glimpse into the many exciting learning experiences, activities, and special moments happening throughout the year.

As your principal, I am incredibly proud to serve the Riverview community and grateful for the opportunity to partner with our students, staff, and families. I am excited to celebrate our successes, navigate challenges together, and continue building a school community where every Ram feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.

So, buckle up, Rams! The road ahead is filled with opportunities to learn, grow, lead, and achieve. I cannot wait to see where this journey takes us!

Welcome back, Ram Family! I am looking forward to an incredible 2026–27 school year!
