ORAL INTERPRETATION
OI
Dear Parents and Students,
Oral Interpretation is a dramatic presentation of a poem or short story.  Students interested in joining the Riverview Group Oral Interpretation Team (grades 4-6) need to complete and return the permission slip below to Room 8 or by TUESDAY, JANUARY 18TH.

Everyone interested in joining is welcome!  There are no tryouts.  All students will develop an appreciation of literature interpretation and oral language, as well as the skills needed to work together as a group.  Plus, they will earn a Block R point and have a lot of fun along the way!

Our Group Oral Interpretation Team will NOT perform at the C.U.S.D. Oral Interpretation Festival.  It has been cancelled this year, but we wanted to give students an opportunity to participate, learn and earn Block R points.   They will be performing for the Riverview student body in March.   This event takes place on Friday, March 4, 2021.   Time to be determined.

ORAL INTERPRETATION practices will be on Tuesday mornings before school, beginning Tuesday, January 18th @ 7:40-8:15 in MPR .
  • Any changes to our practice schedule, or additional practices, will be on morning announcements and a note will be sent home when possible.

If you have any questions, we can be reached via email.

Sincerely,
Your O.I. Coaches
Ms. Elizabeth Whitlow                         Mrs. Nicole Mastropoalo
